2019 Block Party
- The 2019 Elbur block party is officially set for Saturday, August 3rd!

New Committees
- Several months ago the block club decided it was interested in forming three committees
- A new neighbor welcome
- A holiday hop progressive party
- A yard clean up for people who need assistance with their yards.
- There hasn’t been any movement regarding these committees since then.
- The committee that seems to have the most interest is the new neighbor welcome commitee.
- We had several new neighbors present at the block club meeting!
- If you’re interested in participating in this committee, please contact Ann Marie directly and she will connect you to the neighbors who have expressed interest in working on this.

City Update
- Councilman Litten shared some city updates with the block club. He predominantly focused on all of the development occurring in and around our ward.
- There is a proposed development in the old location of Spitzer at Bunts and Wyandotte which would be an apartment building with 275 units and 8 stories high.
- There is another proposed development at the old Barry Buick location. This would be another residential site.
